Back in 2002, two brothers - fresh from the rugby pitch and the workshop started asking local pub owners what they needed help with.

Five out of ten said the same thing: “Stocktaking. It’s a nightmare.”
So, without business cards or fancy plans, they just said yes. They showed up, listened, and worked hard. By the end of the first month, they were handling stock for some of Dublin’s busiest bars. Then came the next question from those same clients: “Do you know a good bookkeeper?”
They didn’t. So they became one. That’s how the bookkeeping side was born, again by listening and building what people actually needed.
Over the years, there were struggles like a serious back injury from lifting kegs. But that challenge sparked an idea: a better way to weigh kegs safely. That invention changed everything. Later, business pressures led to coaching and eventually to NLP, which helped the team understand not just problems, but people. Because when someone left the company not for money, but because they felt overwhelmed, they realised: success isn't just about numbers. It's about mindset.
By 2025, SynergyUp had grown from two brothers solving a problem… to a trusted partner for businesses across Ireland. And in June 2025, they were honored with an award from the Irish Chamber of Commerce.
